Agreement to These SMS Terms

These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") govern text messages sent by or on behalf of Sound Source Inc. ("Sound Source," "we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to a Sound Source text messaging program, you agree to these SMS Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Consent is optional

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from Sound Source.

01

Program Name and Description

The program is called the Sound Source Customer Messaging Program. Depending on how you opted in and the reason for your interaction with us, messages may include:

  • Responses to questions and requests for information.
  • Quote follow-up and vehicle or product compatibility questions.
  • Appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling, and arrival instructions.
  • Installation, repair, order, pickup, and service-status updates.
  • Customer-care and post-service follow-up.
  • Promotional offers only when you have separately agreed to receive promotional text messages.

Sound Source may send messages using an automatic telephone dialing system or other messaging technology when permitted by the consent you provided and applicable law.

02

How You Opt In and Provide Consent

You may opt in through a website or electronic form, by initiating or requesting a text conversation, by providing written consent, or through another method clearly presented by Sound Source. Your consent applies only to the telephone number you provide and to the message categories described when you opt in.

You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and that you are authorized to consent to messages at that number. If your number changes or is reassigned, you agree to notify Sound Source promptly.

Consent to customer-care messages does not automatically constitute consent to promotional messages. When promotional consent is required, Sound Source will request it clearly and separately.

03

Message Frequency and Charges

Message frequency varies. The number and timing of messages depend on your requests, appointments, projects, and interactions with Sound Source. We do not charge a separate fee for the program, but message and data rates may apply under your wireless plan. Contact your wireless carrier if you have questions about your plan.

04

How to Opt Out

You may revoke consent and stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to a Sound Source message. We may recognize other customary opt-out words as required by law or supported by our messaging platform.

After you opt out, you may receive one final text confirming that your request was processed. Unless you affirmatively request otherwise, an opt-out will be treated as a request to stop all text messages covered by that messaging program. You may still receive non-text communications from us when appropriate, such as telephone calls or emails connected with an active service request.

To begin receiving texts again after opting out, you must provide new consent.

We use information related to the SMS program to send and manage messages, respond to you, maintain consent and opt-out records, provide customer service, prevent misuse, and comply with law. Our Privacy Policy explains our information practices in more detail.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Mobile information, text-message opt-in data, and SMS consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may allow messaging and telecommunications providers to process information solely to operate the program for us or as required by law.

08

Eligibility and Responsible Use

You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, to enroll in the program. You agree not to use the messaging program unlawfully, impersonate another person, interfere with program operation, or submit content that is abusive, fraudulent, or infringes another person's rights.

09

Changes and Termination

We may modify these SMS Terms or change, suspend, or discontinue the program when reasonably necessary. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain new consent. Your right to opt out at any time remains unchanged.

10

General Terms

These SMS Terms are governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. These SMS Terms do not limit any rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
